Join our Burnaby healthcare client on an initial 12-month contract as a Senior Technical Project Manager and spearhead a crucial initiative to enhance emergency response capabilities. This key role focuses on leading the end-to-end implementation of a sophisticated call handling solution across the Patient Transfer Network (PTN), ClinicalHub, and Patient Transfer Coordination Center (PTCC). We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in contact center solutions, particularly within call center environments, who thrives in complex project landscapes. Your expertise in emergency operations, telecommunication systems (including VOIP and digital/analog technologies), and vendor management will be pivotal in driving this project forward. Responsibilities • Development of a project charter • Creating and maintaining project milestones and project schedule • Managing project resources (internal and/or external resources) • Leading contracting and procurement efforts • Establishing and tracking project to budget • Developing a step-by-step transition plan • Leading the planning, design, implementation, testing, training, change management and deployment of a new call handling solution for PTN, ClinicalHub and PTCC. • Developing a project risk management plan • Establishing and leading steering committee and working group meetings. • Providing formal status reports for various levels of the organization on a regular basis. Qualifications • Project leadership and project management experience. (Required) • Strong organization and interpersonal communications skills. (Required) • Awareness and knowledge of emergency call center operations. (Required) • Experience with public safety telecommunication, specifically telephony systems, analog, digital and VOIP. (Required) • Capable of a high degree of analytical thinking, problem solving, and the ability to deal effectively and rapidly with complex concepts. (Required) • Able to work effectively in a team environment. (Required) • Demonstrated ability to rapidly familiarize themselves with complex telephony solution environments and to be able to provide the services identified in Section 2.5 shortly after commencement with little to no supervision. (Required) • Experience working with outsourced vendors and COTS solutions. (Required) • Experience and knowledge of Avaya CS1000 products. (Highly Desirable) • Experience and knowledge of the Genesys contact center solution. (Highly Desirable) • Project management experience with CCaaS projects. (Highly Desirable) • Experience with Canadian public sector procurement. (Desirable) • Technical knowledge of Telus’ Avaya CS 1000 product.
