Our team is growing, we are looking for experienced Shipper Receivers to join our production and distribution facility on a full-time basis. in Langley, BC The types of products you will be exposed to will mainly consist of fruits and vegetables. As the Shipper Receiver you will be receiving incoming orders, maintaining and organizing inventory, picking and packing orders, preparing pertinent documentation for shipment of goods and operating a Sit Down Counterbalance with safety as top priority. The position requires heavy lifting and experience in a warehouse facility. This role is long-term, full-time, and gives you an opportunity to work with an outstanding team, it is a fantastic opportunity! What you need to know: This is a full-time temporary to permanent position with an immediate start date Schedule: flexible schedules available (based on position and business needs) Shifts: flexible shifts available to accommodate applicants needs (between 6AM start time and 4PM end time) Wage: $21-$25/HR (based on experience) Location: Langley, BC Transit accessible Previous shipping, receiving and Sit Down Counterbalance experience is required You are looking for a long-term career opportunity, can meet the shift, schedule, and job requirements You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British Columbia Advantages - Schedule: flexible schedules available to accommodate applicants needs - Shifts: flexible shifts available to accommodate applicants needs - Starting wage of $21-$25 - Weekly paychecks + 4% Vacation Pay - Transit accessible - Located in Langley, BC Responsibilities - Receiving orders in a timely fashion - Safe operation of Sit-down Counterbalance and Electric Pallet Jack - Maintain and organize the inventory - Picking and packing orders as required - Preparing pertinent documentation for shipment of goods - Receiving all incoming shipments and authorizing for the correctness of product received - Initiating claims for damaged goods, shortages/overages or incorrect product received - Supporting in other departments when required Qualifications - Previous Sit-down Counterbalance Forklift and Pallet Jack experience, no ticket required however is an asset - Previous shipping and receiving experience, understand the role entirely - Previous use of RF scanner - Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills - Previous experience with forklift equipment in a warehouse setting (1 Year) - You are capable to work in a fast paced distribution environment with speed, reliability and accuracy - Ability to meet physical requirements; lifting 50 pounds consistently, standing, pushing, bending - Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude - Able to work OT + weekends to meet peak season demands - Dress Code: CSA approved Steel Toe Boots, Safety Vest - You have Steel Toed Shoes - You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British Columbia and are located near Langley, BC Summary If this sounds like the perfect job opportunity for you, look no further!
