HSE Coordinator

Our clients include industry-leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HR & Recruitment function.   Position : HSE Coordinator Location: Sudbury, ON Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 Yearly Industry: Construction/ Health and Safety / IHSA/ WSIB Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent   Roles & Responsibilities : Responsible for ensuring compliance with all HSE-related regulations Responsible for site-level implementation of all regulations along with ensuring a safe working environment Managing relationships with all internal and external members Being up to date with regulations and industry practices Responsible for performing daily audits to identify and control any hazards Investigate all incidents and perform the necessary steps to avoid further occurrences in the future  Ensure all workplace injuries are reported within the required timeframes  Complete incident reports as needed Travel and visit sites as required  Other tasks as assigned Qualifications & Experience : Post-secondary education in occupational health and safety or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in an HSE role that involved managing, planning, and implementing HSE requirements Experience in Civil construction preferred  Strong working knowledge of OH&S Acts and other applicable legislation Familiar with investigation and auditing techniques (COR/ISO) Experienced with WSIB reporting and IHSA COR requirements NCSO certification is preferred  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in Microsoft applications.
