Our client, a division of a global world class manufacturer in the Newmarket area, is currently looking for a Project Manager. This position is accountable for the successful launch of projects within the specified quality, budget t and timing targets that will ensure customer satisfaction. What's in it for you: - A great work experience within a world class manufacturing environment - Extended Health Benefits - Employee Profit Sharing Plan - Group RRSP with employer contribution - Educational reimbursement program - Employee appreciation events - A focus on safety, health and wellness Minimum requirements: • A degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering • Previous experience as a Project Manager or as a Program Manager while being directly employed with a tier 1 automotive manufacturing company • Working knowledge of IATF16949, APQP, Blueprint Reading, GD&T, Design for Manufacturing, VA/VE, DOE, DFMEA/PFMEA, Floor Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, Quoting Procedures / Contract Review. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Report activities on projects with respect to cost and timing • Coordinate with cross-functional team for various projects. • Address all customer issues and concerns • Provide guidance, where necessary, to management in all project related decisions. • Monitor and oversee all cross-functional team activities, tasks, and support as required.
