We're seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Payroll Administrator to join our team and help us manage our payroll operations seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Payroll Processing:

  • Accurately process weekly & bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.

  • Calculate and record earnings, deductions, and benefits.

  • Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits.

  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.

  • Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local payroll laws and regulations.

  • Prepare and submit required payroll reports to government agencies.

  • Assist with year-end payroll processing, including T4 preparation and distribution.

  • Employee Support:

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.

  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and issues promptly and accurately.

  • Provide support for new employee onboarding, including setting up payroll information.

  • Records Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the payroll system.

  • Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data.

  • Perform regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy.

  • Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the HR and Finance departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.

  • Assist with special projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Education and Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration.

  • Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Ceridian) is preferred.

  • Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle confidential information.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
