Posting End Date:June 27, 2024Employee Type:Regular-Full timeUnion/Non: This is a non-union positionWe are seeking a Senior Advisor Strategic Financial Evaluations to join an outstanding team!In this role you will collaborate with investment and subject matter owners in the financial, strategic, commercial and risk assessment of new business initiatives, including large capital projects, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.We offer opportunities to grow your knowledge and skills, and an exciting career with a competitive benefits and pension package including generous time off.Apply today to this excellent opportunity on our diverse team! #joinourteamWhat You Will Do:Build, review and maintain comprehensive financial models for new projects and initiatives, including integrated financial documents, standardized evaluation metrics and appropriate tax, financing, accounting, legal and regulatory considerations.Be Accountable for the integrity of all analyses performed, ensuring investments are evaluated accurately.Ensure results are aligned with the Company's performance objectives and Ontario Energy Board (OEB) regulatory directives.Support the GDS and Corporate project approval process including providing guidance to the Business Unit.Prepare materials for use in OEB hearings. Conduct analyses and prepare evidence, schedules, and studies for submission to the OEB for Rate and Facilities Applications/Hearings.Communicate work outcomes with team members and collaborate in strategic discussions and tactical planning.Act as representative of the department on a variety of committees and task forces.Supply periodic post investment reviews of projects comparing actual to approved economics.Collect and analyze information on a wide variety of topics including industry activities, new technologies and financial modelling standard methodologies. Who You Are:Required:University degree with a specialization in Finance, Business, Math, Economics or Engineering (MBA / CFA / CPA, B. Comm, or similar) from a nationally recognized program.6+ years of experience in financial assessments and/or capital investment analysis.Strong excel modelling skills and an understanding of accounting, tax & finance.Highly developed / proven proficiencies as follows: oral/written communication, business insight, interpersonal skills, persuasion and influencing, prioritization, critical thinking. Preferred:Discounted cash flow modelling & business valuation experience.Experience in a rate regulated industry. Working Conditions:Office EnvironmentModerate North American travelEnbridge provides competitive workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members.
