Tasks Coordinate driver teams by ensuring their timely dispatch and needs are looked after. Coordinate maintenance for a fleet of trucks and trailers. Keep employee files up-to-date. Conduct due diligence on any new customers. Deal with unforeseen events as to avoid service interruptions. Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are in place and conduct regular Safety meetings. Transportation of Dangerous Good certification. Knowledge of industry regulations (hours of service, market conditions, etc…). Proven record of success in a supervisory/leadership role in the transportation industry. Experience with dry bulk and/or liquid freight would be an asset. Desired profile Understanding of performance metrics and variable cost management. Customer-centric approach. Process-driven in all aspects of the operation. Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
