General Summary
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Stress MRB Engineer who will be responsible for supporting the engineering team to ensure that conforming products are delivered to our customers. The position requires performing stress analysis, including static, fatigue, and damage-tolerance, on aircraft assemblies, as well as preparing detailed stress analyses. A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the aerospace industry is mandatory.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Disposition non-conforming product as a member of the Material Review Board (MRB)
· Perform stress analysis, static, fatigue and damage-tolerance, on aircraft assemblies and prepare detailed stress analysis reports
· Ensure compliance to functional, regulatory and customer requirements
· Liaise with Customer/Suppliers for all design and stress analysis related issues
· Perform tolerance stack-up analysis for assembled structures
· Investigate design related issues and develop effective solutions
· Interpret technical requirements for use in manufacture or approval of a product or process
· Evaluate and provide feedback on new customer bids for manufacturability and improvement
· Prepare technical drawings and technical publications

Basic Qualifications
· Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering related field specializing in aeronautical engineering
· Minimum 10 years experience in aircraft design and/or aircraft stress analysis
· Experience with Bombardier aircraft engineering and MRB analysis tools an asset
· Previous experience or delegation in Liaison engineering or stress analysis for material review board activities is an asset
· Possess above average written and verbal communication skills
· Must be able to work well under pressure, in a fast paced, results-oriented environment
· The ability to work well with other disciplines in the pursuit of solving manufacturing/design problems
· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, spreadsheet applications and databases.
· Ability to learn additional computer systems as needed.
· Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers
· Proficiency in Solidworks and/or CATIA V5 an asset
· Knowledge of statistical process control and experience with its use an asset
· Employees must be legally authorized to work in Canada
· Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
This position is subject to the Controlled Goods Clearance which requires Canadian permanent residence or citizenship.
