This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in developing the strategy for our new pharmaceutical site and shape the future of our operations in North America.Reporting to the Plant Controller, the Assistant Plant Controller is accountable for effectively controlling, reporting and analyzing the financial and statistical information regarding the company’s Adair operations on a timely and accurate basis. The Assistant Plant Controller is also accountable to develop and maintain appropriate internal control systems and procedures that safeguard the assets of the Company.Regular working hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.The RolePlan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions.Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial and statistical data necessary for an accurate accounting of business resultsCoordinate and prepare internal financial statements. Provide management with management reports that support decision makingPrepare and manage the annual site budget as well as the monthly forecastsAssess current accounting and internal control processes, develop recommendations for improvement and monitor on going performanceLiaise with external auditors and lead financial audits.
