Area Sales Manager - Beverage Alcohol

They are currently seeking an experience and full time Area Sales Manager to join their team. The Area Sales Manager sells the organization's portfolio of products to established retail and on-premise customers, and manages all brand building initiatives in their assigned territory. This individual will activate against organization objectives for distribution, programming initiatives, brand building, ROI and budget expectations, and brand plans. This role offers a base salary (65-70k target), bonus, car allowance, benefits, and RRSP. Key Responsibilities: Manage a territory of retail customers, both key account & independent locations, executing brand building programs to achieve company retail objectives for distribution, display, and shelf management Conduct staff and consumer education and tasting sessions to drive volume and distribution of our portfolio, to increase market share in this channel Manage a territory of on-premise customers for well and back-bar distribution, menu placements, and staff and consumer education and tastings; to increase market share in this channel Create and present winning customer presentations that maximize scorecard ROI in the territory, and negotiating with customers within defined brand budget plan Use CRM tool to understand account performance and competitor portfolios, identifying opportunities to increase volume and value, and leverage brand sales to drive portfolio success with all customers Key Qualifications: 1-2yrs sales experience, ideally in beverage alcohol or CPG Knowledge of BCLDB/LRS liquor regulations, current market trends and competitive landscape Post-secondary education or higher, ideally in business or commerce Disciplined sales approach, highly organized, with excellent problem-solving skills, and time management techniques Experience managing T&E and brand budgets Possesses strong business acumen, excellent computer skills, and keen negotiating skills
