Electrical Engineer - Kingston area

One of our top partners in the Electric Vehicle space is preparing to build a facility that will be a crucial part of Canada’s Electric Vehicle (EV) supply chain in Kingston area. Our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for the developing and managing the technical standards in support of the construction and installation of the new assets in the new facility. Responsibilities - Work closely with Project Managers and assign the needed Electrical Engineers for each project. - Ensure the Electrical responsibilities are executed within scope and according to the planning and budget. - Liaise with contractors for a safe execution and ensure timelines are being respected. - Detect roadblocks and take corrective actions. - Manage risk, change of scope and work assigned to team members. - Perform/Support commissioning of the equipments before handing over to the Process Team. Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field - 5+ years of technical experience in execution of large scale engineering projects. - 2+ years of experience working in similar role and good understanding of industrial installations. - Knowledge of EHS Standards and industry best practices - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - Exemplary behavior towards ethics and integrity and ability to build strong relationships - Good working knowledge of MS Office Summary If you are someone who is passionate about being a part of an organization focused on innovation and sustainability, this might be the next step in your career.
