Job Description Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the individual will play an essential role as a business partner within the airport services teams, providing expertise in human resources management. This strategic position aims to effectively support employees at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL), including ramp crews, PAX agents, and others, totaling a group of 400 people. Working closely with managers and employees, the incumbent will provide professional guidance and personalized support, while contributing to the implementation of HR practices aligned with organizational objectives. In addition, a regular on-site presence at YUL will be required, in order to better understand the needs and particularities of this airport environment. Responsibilities : Acts as a close partner to managers and employees in the application of human resources policies, programs and procedures while ensuring that they are adhered to properly; Supports and guides managers in making decisions and achieving objectives while navigating the challenges related to strategic planning and ensuring the proper human resources practices are followed, notably in matters of labour relations, mobilization, succession, performance, and development; Accompanies and develops managers on issues related to the management of employee relations; Supports managers in performance management and improvement to help create and monitor action plans aimed at improving employee performance; Manage and supports the implementation of certain HR projects and initiatives; Acts as an ambassador for change management and accompanies the managers in their efforts; In collaboration with the centers of expertise, manages various human resources processes, notably those related to compensation and the job evaluations for their sectors; Intervenes in the conflict resolutions or human resources issues affecting the entire sector it supports; Builds strong business relationships and develops strategic business partnerships to better support and guide all levels of management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in labour relations or human resources Six to 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a generalist consulting role Experience working in a unionized work environment (an asset) Operational HR experience in addition to the ability to handle strategic issues Ability to adapt to change, including working with different people and in various situations Motivated team player with excellent influential skills Ability to work in ambiguous situations. Strong organizational skills Motivated team player with excellent influencing skills Ability to make connections and target specific issues Open-minded and strong emotional intelligence Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent written and spoken English and French Good knowledge of MS Office Suite Additional Information This position requires on-site presence, mainly at the airport – Telework is possible.
