Role Purpose Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the Industrial Mechanic will interface with all employees within the terminal, as well as customers, vendors and employees from other parts of the company. Specifically, this individual will work closely with management and coordinate with outside vendors for any necessary maintenance and repairs within the terminal requiring third party engagement. Perform regular preventative maintenance routines. Able to perform majority of maintenance and repairs tasks on machinery and equipment including rebuilding pumps. Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for storage tanks and equipment including pumps, mills, thermal fluid heaters, boilers and mixers. Maintain parts inventory for repairs and maintenance. Order required parts and equipment needed for general maintenance and repair. Able to perform all of the process operator functions proficiently. Ability to perform advanced functions as required by terminal including PMA, and Emulsion manufacturing. As other duties as required by Terminal Manager. Position Requirements High school diploma/GED. General computer skills and PC knowledge. Solid, proven mechanical skills. Certification as an industrial mechanic (millwright) preferred. Skilled trades experience preferred including: cutting, welding, brazing, soldering & grinding plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulics process piping and process reservoirs. compressors, steam boilers and thermal fluid heaters Stable work history. Be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time on concrete floors and outside surfaces. Able to work outside in varying weather conditions, varying cold, hot & humid temperatures. Manual dexterity: ability to reach; able to bend and move with agility. Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. Our Purpose At Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP), our people are second to none.
