This dynamic position involves overseeing the efficient operation of the Daiya building, while proactively creating an exceptional space for our people to thrive in. Comfortable wearing many hats, the successful candidate will navigate varied tasks and responsibilities, making each day unique.This role is initially offered as an 8-month contract position with the potential to transition into a permanent role.Salary: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00Job ResponsibilitiesFacility Management Facilities security management, including issuing employee and visitor badges, ensuring a safe and secure office management and working with IT to ensure facilities have the necessary security measures in placeOversee the day-to-day operations of the company's facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained working environment.Coordinate with vendors for facility maintenance, repairs, and renovations as neededManage office supplies inventory and place orders to replenish stocksProvide regular office facilities communication and announcements keeping employees up to date on existing policies within the office Office Support Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly mannerCoordinate and support logistics for all company eventsHandle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveriesAdmin support for SLT Health and Safety Working closely with OH&S Committee, ensure corporate facilities are maintained from a health and safety perspective Education & Experience Working towards a relevant degree, diploma or experience in business administration or communicationsAt least one (1) years’ experience in administration support and customer service Related Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Exceptional and enthusiastic customer service skills and compassionate can-do attitudeStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Publisher and other applications including Outlook, Excel, WordAble to work autonomously with minimal supervisionExcellent interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as a part of a teamAble to deal tactfully and efficiently with all enquiriesAbility to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to prioritize under the pressure of tight deadlinesAbility to persuade and positively influence at all levels of the organizationStrong organizational and time-management skills Benefits Competitive compensationExtended health benefits fully paid by Daiya for your family3 weeks’ vacationFlex daysRetirement savings matching programFlexible spending accountFun and creative environmentInspiring and innovative workSmart and passionate teamsMaking people and the planet a healthier place At Daiya Foods, we are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment, one in which employees can bring their whole selves to work everyday.
