Specialty Health Network (SHN) by Shoppers is looking to hire a summer student enrolled in a nursing program to support our program management department. The student will have the opportunity to put their training into practice and gain valuable practical experience by participating in and supporting special projects and initiatives, as directed by members of the team.The program department would benefit from a summer student to help complete the administrative tasks that support the functioning of the program(s) and department. The student will effectively manage all assigned tasks and responsibilities within the prescribed time frame.Your Role:Help review and/or create documents/work instructions for various aspects of the program workflow.Be responsible for special projects.Undertake any other duties or responsibilities requested.Demonstrate commitment to Continuous Quality ImprovementMaintain high standards of professional practice by adhering to the ethics of the profession and keeping abreast of the latest professional advancesJob Requirements:Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., nursing)Ability to communicate effectively with all relevant Specialty Health Network teamsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to solve problemsAbility to multitaskExcellent interpersonal skillsMust be confident when using Microsoft Office 365Why work at Shoppers Drug Mart?
