Study Director-Inhalation Toxicolog

Responsibilities:Design and prepare study plans, amendments and reports;Prepare and/or review study-related documentation;Ensure all documentation associated with studies is up-to-date and complies withStudy Plan, departmental and company Standards Operational Procedures (SOPs);Coordinates study related activities where necessary with the section leaders;Instructs and liaises with inhalation technicians in generation and sampling procedures and technical work;Interprets and reports study data generated from all departments involved on a study;Liaises with Sponsors, consultants and Principal Investigators on study-related matters;Participates in client visits relating to studies assigned to them;Substitute for and/or assist other study directors if needed;Be conversant, and function in compliance with guidelines and regulations published by governmental regulatory bodies (OECD, FDA, EPA and HPB). Participates in the review and revision of SOPs;Remain informed on technology developments by self-education and/or externaltrainings, as required;Participates in Toxicology meetings;Assists in maintaining a safe working environment for himself/herself and his/her colleagues by observing all safety procedures and working methods;Performs other related duties;Requirements:B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a science related field with a preference to biology based; A minimum of three years of experience in a related field;Good knowledge of GLP;Excellent problem solving and analytical skills;Ability to work under time constraints and to adapt to change.Experience working with laboratory rodents and large animal species’Proficient in English (spoken and written) and able to communicate in French; Good report writing abilities; Autonomous, organized with the ability to lead; This position offers: Permanent full-time job, 37.5 hours / week; Group insurance plan and group RRSP. A stimulating and friendly work environment.
