We are currently seeking a Member & Advisory Experience Business Partner to join our team.The Member & Advisory Experience Business Partner is an advocate for First West lines of business (LOB) (MAC, Wealth, Commercial, Business & Retail). This role elevates the advisory & member experience across the organization by observing how strategic initiatives are embedded into our member-facing teams and identifying opportunity to optimize and evolve process & practice. The Business Partner also creates consistency and scale in process, practice, and experience across LOBs, works alongside the business to provide relevant resources & tools to leaders, supports and responds to strategic priorities, with tangible outcomes (tools & resources), supports member & advisory experience surveys and initiatives with business partners (ie: Sentis & future evolution) and works in close collaboration with the Member Experience Transformation team to provide value to all LOBs. Here’s what would be included as a part of your typical day Cross-functional collaboration: Cultivates and sustains strong relationships with LOBs senior leadership and is a conduit to our member-support teams including, Enterprise Insights, Strategy, Product, Marketing, Risk & Compliance, Legal and People & Culture to help align strategies ensuring a seamless & remarkable member & advisor experience. Represents the Member & Advisory Experience team (MAX) as a Centre of Excellence (COE) to Agile squads. Provides Gateway support by identifying needs & opportunities (skill development, business acumen, strategy), acknowledging capacity and advocating the demands of the business. Provides Federal readiness & continuance support. Agile: Shares the priorities and needs of the business for squad prioritization. Participates as a COEin appropriate ceremonies, offers clarity regarding advice/sales processes, member/advisor experience (including member outreach, leads, opportunities), coaching requirements, reporting metrics & dashboards (sales tools), operationalization, documentation, member journeys and more, helping to support data-driven decision making. Acts as a stakeholder in change & risk impact assessments. Advice (Sales) Process Optimization: Works with LOBs to refine & improve processes. Ensures strategy is prioritized, on-going efficiency consideration, value creation for end-users & the business. Offers ongoing guidance for coaching support through relevant resources, tools, content development and assistance to leaders in identifying upskilling or reskilling talent. Plays a key role in demonstrating how sustainment activities will achieve successful execution and outcomes for our members and business through resources and tools. Member Experience: Triages barriers identified by LOB, ensuring the rightful owners/experts are aware of impact, shares best practices and is the conduit for connection across First West through establishing & maintaining a feedback loop. Enterprise Initiatives: Supports and responds to First West prioritized initiatives and delivers to desired outcomes, including Gateway and Cross Pod Risk Review. Responsibilities may include pilots, federal readiness, other critical areas of the business informed by Enterprise OKR’s. Other duties: As required by leadership. Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education required. Minimum 5 years experience specific to Sales, Advisory & Member experience required Coaching , Leadership, Portfolio Management and current/prior Mutual Funds licensing required Technology Proficiency: Ability to analyze and identify gaps in individual/branch/division/business line performance specific to business acumen & skill level, world-class CRM software knowledge. Industry Knowledge: familiarity with markets. Ability to confidently recommend solutions outside of the status quo that create accountability to drive performance. An understanding of organizational strategy to support prioritization and influence across business lines. Knowledge of federally / provincially regulated policies, procedures, product/services. Knowledge of agile principles and desire to adopt agile methodologies in run work. Proven contribution and leadership in high-performing teams. Strong sales & advisory expertise & acumen Strong communication (verbal and written), coaching, facilitation, feedback and conflict resolution skills Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to be flexible and adapt to change Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Strong negotiations skills and results-oriented Content development & creation Ability to analyze results and recommend solutions to support desired productivity levels Proficient with software applications for reporting & tracking purposes ., CRM, MS Office, Teams, One Note, Excel, Dev Ops Displays an understanding of risk and risk ownership by being able to demonstrate adherence to policies and procedures. Pay Transparency Salary Range: $87,280 - $111,800 Please note, the salary range mentioned in this job posting should serve as a guide. The final compensation offered may vary based on a variety of factors including bonuses and/or incentives, or a candidate’s skills and experience.
