Triacta Power Solutions – A Division of Metergy Solutions Inc. Rework/Repair Operator The Rework/Repair Operator carries out assigned tasks in a highly structured, repetitive environment. A key part of this role is to learn focused tasks well, and repeat these tasks to produce quality products to maintain production schedules. Job Duties: Independently assembles components according to specific drawings and procedures and process documentation. Independently provides support to the Production Supervisor. Identifies, articulates and escalates problems or issues to Management or Engineering, and assists in gathering requested information and proof necessary to help establish the root cause of problems and determine corrective action. Recognizes discrepancies in documentation or problems with quality, product or process, and recommends changes. Properly executes on inventory control, cycle counting, and computer transactions. Ability to utilize, understand and follow Kitting protocols for planned and customized orders. Identifies, reads/interprets and reworks according to complex ECO modifications or other instructions. Interprets rework/repair instructions from Debug Technicians and Engineering. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and performance standards. May be required to prepare components and/or wire. Supports other company requirements when necessary. Key Competencies: Detail-oriented team player who respects individual rights of all team members Ability to work with extremely small and delicate material Willing to learn and adapt to new methods and procedures Must be able to provide, as well as receive, constructive feedback Ability to work with tight deadlines Highly organized with a strong ability to multitask, dealing with multiple and changing priorities Requirements: 5 years’ experience in a rework/repair position Good written and verbal communication skills in English needed to escalate issues to team supervisor, engineering and other departments. Ability to multitask. Demonstrated capability in all aspects of the area. Ability to read, understand and apply process documents. Ability to solder complex PCBs, use torque hand tools, microscope, soldering/de-soldering equipment. Demands prolonged sitting, microscope, visual acuity, manual dexterity, lifting and carrying, attention to detail, good hand/eye coordination. Equipment: Computer, soldering iron, microscope, DRS machine, torque tools. Hazards: working with solder, flux and other chemicals.
