Duties and Responsibilities: The Production & Inventory Manager is responsible for creating and scheduling production work orders using a modern MRP system and monitoring changes across the operations to ensure products are made and shipped on time.  Working closely with Operations, Sales, Procurement and Quality Assurance teams, the P&I Manager reviews, anticipates, and adjusts raw material flow and resources in real time to ensure production happens within prescribed specifications, in planned quantities, and on schedule. Specific duties include: Determine Planned Production Date for orders based on established standards Actively manage, anticipate, and plan raw material availability through collaboration with Procurement Team and address related issues Assess production capacity using integrated planning software system in collaboration with Operations Team Create Work Orders in Sage X3 ERP system based on incoming Sales Orders Provide Work Orders to Operations Team with open communication Achieve 95% accurate Production Dates with 90 day lead times Review and assess regular reports to identify and mitigate any risk of delay Monitor production processes to identify opportunities for improvement Collaborate with QC Team to ensure that products meet customer specifications, Assemble data from multiple sources to create reports on productivity and performance towards KPI’s.
