Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) [APK967]

Position: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) Hours Of Work: 30 hours per week Qualifications: Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario, in good standing; Demonstrated experience in a previous RPN role; Successful police record check including vulnerable sector screening; Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills; Demonstrated ability supporting clients with patience and compassion; Responsibilities : Support the health goals and goals of care of assigned student by keeping up to date on and adhering to the individual Care/Emergency Plan. Administer prescribed medications in accordance with the Emergency Plan and with the Standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Observe and monitor health of assigned student and assist with daily living activities during the school day. Work co-operatively with education staff and others to meet assigned student needs.
