Assistant Field Engineer / Abbotsford
Infinity‐Pacific is seeking a positive and self‐motivated individual to join our Coastal Team of Forest Professionals working throughout the Fraser valley. This position would suit an applicant with previous experience in the resource sector looking to grow their forestry career. If you’re looking for a change and a great lifestyle opportunity, this role is for you!
The Role- Working directly with one of our Coastal Lead Engineers for mentorship and knowledge growth, your role will allow for hands on experience in operations, development and harvesting.
- Duties will include block layout, GPS traversing, boundary painting, road location, stream and riparian assessments and collection of recce data.
- You will be part of the team who takes pride in ensuring timely, consistent and quality product delivery, both for the field and office.
- You are a safety conscious individual and problem solver with the ability to act independently when faced with an obstacle or change.
- Work locations are focused in the Fraser Valley but will require camp work on occasion. Qualifications and Requirements
The successful will possess a valid Class 5 Drivers Licence and have a love for the outdoors and an ability to perform physically demanding work in changing weather conditions.They will be a self starter and keen to learn new things and ask questions.
This position is field based with an increase in office time as skills progress.
