Tabor Village is accepting resumes for Licensed Practical Nurses in our Assisted Living or Long-Term care sites.Our team is made up of passionate individuals working together for the common goal of providing heartfelt senior care in keeping with Tabor Village’s Mission, Vision, and values.Under the work direction of the Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse is expected to function within the full scope of professional practice and is responsible for: Providing daily nursing careEnsuring the safety and well-being of residentsDealing with emergency situationsConducts resident assessments including RAI assessments.managing communication with physicians, family, and other disciplines.providing leadership to the team of HCA’s. Successful applicant must have: Demonstrate ability to work under time constraints.Demonstrate ability to work alone or under team setting.Short notice availability an assetExperience working with seniors an asset.Strong work ethicPhysical ability to perform the duties of the position.Demonstrated ability to maintain supportive relationships with residents and their families.Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and prioritize work.Double covid vaccinated.*Required: The applicant must be prepared to work shift work and weekends.All LPN shifts are 8 hours.Applicants must be currently registered with the BCCNM and be in good standing.
