Role Purpose Statement A Data Analyst must assist in data and information cleaning, mining, cataloguing, analyzing and interpreting obtained by digital or analog means, being an essential professional to support decision making. From the analysis of the collected data, the analyst must organize and interpret them in order to extract patterns, make them visible and understandable, point out paths and solutions to eventual problems, among others. Main Accountabilities: Execute and monitor innovation projects, pilot tests and proofs of concept.Development and updates of statistical algorithms. Perform basic statistical analysis of industrial data. Interface with corporate areas, prepare technical documents, reports, and presentations. Seek improvements in ongoing projects and potential new opportunities. Working together with engineers/coordinators and operators in project implementation. Prepare reports and dashboards with KPIs for the plant team based on a pre-defined backlog together with the team. Perform data analysis based on defined demands. Keep documentation up to date. Assist in meeting data environment governance requirements. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): • Optimize process performance Key Relationships: IT/OT local, regional, and global Operations Global / Regional Working Groups members. Suppliers, Integrators, Partners. Knowledge and Technical Competencies: Soft skills: organized, proactive, curious, sense of urgency and prioritization, feeling of ownership. Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques. Will be a plus: Experience in API data extractions, Knowledge of LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law). Experience with industrial historians. Education/Experience: Knowledge Tools: Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Programming language (basic). Basic SQL (Querys) and basic knowledge of data analysis tools (Phyton / BI / Looker /OSI Soft PI, etc) – as differentials. Background: Degree in Engineering and Computer Science (possibly still studying). Desirable: knowledge in process industry KPIs, knowledge of Bigquery tools, Looker/Power BI/Tableau, basic statistics, Knowledge of Jupyter tool. Have already worked in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. Availability for travel.
