If you have significant experience in the transportation field or experience as a dispatcher and are interested in working for an industry leader located in St-Hyacinthe, apply now! philippe.pilon@randstad.ca melissa.cumetti@randstad.ca Advantages Here are some of the advantages you'll find with this position in St-Hyacinthe; - Permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week, flexible hours - Salary ranges from 55k to 70k depending on experience - 2 to 3 weeks paid vacation - 10 sick days - Statutory vacations - 55% life insurance coverage - Free on-site parking - Modern office Responsibilities - Responsible for the proper management of the various platforms - Acceptance and transfer of shipments - Manage the various carriers - Manage and redirect multiple shipments with carriers - Receive freight requests by phone, e-mail or other means from customers, pricing department and sales representatives - Process information received in order to find a carrier covering that region - Negotiate travel conditions and rates with carriers, in order to obtain the best service at the best price. - Research, identify and develop commercial links with transport companies likely to carry out transport in the regions. - Maintain links with carriers and tariff agreements. Qualifications - Good knowledge of the transport sector in general - Excellent knowledge of various transportation software (LoadLink, Isaac, Geotab, Truckmate) - Experience as a dispatcher (asset) - Bilingualism (French and English) - Good knowledge of the territory (asset) - Degree in transportation and logistics / supply chain (asset) - Strong customer service and negotiation skills - Ability to work as part of a team Summary At Randstad, we are here to help you find the right combination for you.
