This role requires a security supervisor who has a keen ability to be professional, customer service oriented and manage a team of staff. Staff management will be a focus and ability to interact on a professional level with key stakeholders is extremely important. Experience in a lead role is a requirement and a proven track record of ability to follow policy and handle pressure will be key factors in your ability to be chosen for this role. Attitude cannot be taught and a positive and engaging personality with proven ability to interact successfully with others will be paramount to your success.  This role has a payrate of $22.00 per hour What's in it for you? What does a Shift Supervisor in Sioux Lookout do? Plan, direct and ensure the smooth running of operations at the client's site by utilizing onsite computer software and programs.  Assist in staff management and staff development. Ability to identify when staff need assistance or further management interaction is required.  Ability to manage staff in a unionized environment.  Maintain protection systems for fire, theft and other disasters.  Ensure the availability of emergency equipment and complete audits of onsite equipment each shift to ensure compliance.  Patrol, write professional reports and show professional and pleasant attitude for clients, staff and visitors to the site.  Qualifications to become a Shift Supervisor in Sioux Lookout 1 to 3 years experience in personnel management in a unionized environment  Excellent oral and written communication skills  Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to quickly and efficiently learn dedicated site security programs.  Valid security guard license and first aid card  Available to work flexible hours Have a clean criminal record Be eligible to work in Canada
