Truck and Coach/Heavy Duty Mechanic

Bruno's Contracting (Thunder Bay) Limited is a heavy civil construction group with over forty years of experience in heavy civil construction, road building, asphalt paving, materials production, and demolition.  We are currently welcoming applications for Truck and Coach & Heavy Duty Mechanics capable of fulfilling the following requirements: JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnosis and repair various issues relative to trucks and heavy equipment Perform tests on units to ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications Schedule and perform routine maintenance and service on units Maintain necessary documentation and records pertaining to servicing and repairs Ensure all work is being completed in a productive and safe manner Other duties as assigned SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Previous truck and/or heavy equipment mechanical experience is required Basic understanding of heavy civil construction operations and processes is preferred Trade certification is strongly preferred Physically fit, capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs Valid driver's license with clean abstract  An ambitious individual with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills We invite interested applicants to submit their cover letter and resume.
