Each of our electricians is provided with a service vehicle, a mobile communications device, and the necessary tools and PPE to complete their daily workload in a safe and efficient manner. Qualifications: Must possess a valid Ontario or interprovincial journeyman electrical construction/maintenance Certification of Qualification Must have a minimum 5 years experience within the electrical trade Must possess a valid G class Ontario driver's license. All successful job applicants must provide a current driver's abstract Must have a clean criminal record. All successful job applicants must provide a current CPIC Must be proficient in English (written and oral) Prior experience in a role of responsibility is an asset Must display a thorough knowledge of technical repairs and procedures Duties: Read and interpret drawings and electrical code specifications to determine layout of electrical installations Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems Troubleshoot, maintain and repair electrical and electronic control systems and devices Conduct preventative maintenance programs and keep maintenance records Maintain the work area in a clean and safety conscious manner Assist in training and supervising apprentice electricians Working Conditions: Must have flexibility in schedule to accommodate varying job requirements Ensure all aspects of an assigned task are completed in a timely manner and to the highest quality standard Must be adept at working in a team environment with little to no supervision Required to perform physical work which is performed in the shop, outdoors, or on customer premises, year-round in all weather Overtime may be required at any time May be required, occasionally, to travel some distance to reach work site, and in extraneous circumstances, may be required to work away from home for an extended period of time ​ If you are an electrician and interested in joining our team, please follow the link below, reference the position you are interested in applying for (Cable Technician, Electrician, Carpenter) and attach your resume in either a .doc or a .docx file format.
