As a Guide, you and your coworkers will go above and beyond to ensure that our guests have a great time while visiting our parks. You will make the difference between a good and a wonderful visit for someone, and you will go above and beyond to make their visit memorable.
Who we're seeking for: You're a people person who enjoys interacting with others and giving outstanding customer service. You enjoy working as part of a team and bring a cheerful attitude with you everywhere you go. You're not afraid to get your hands filthy and labour rain or shine. For long periods of time, you can conduct light physical labour such as lifting, bending, and climbing. You already have or want to obtain your First Aid and CPR certifications. Experience working in outdoor education or guiding is advantageous.
As a Guide, your responsibilities include: Providing exceptional customer service to all guests from the moment they arrive until they depart; conducting technical guiding tasks such as equipment and park inspections, outfitting guests in their gear, and leading guest safety orientations; ensuring our parks are in excellent condition, that they are clean, and that the surrounding natural environment is respected; and supporting guests while they participate in our activities.
Job Types : Full-time, Seasonal Contract length: 3.5 months
Salary : From $17.00 per hour
