You as a ‘Maintenance Assistant’ will:Respond to planned and reactive maintenance requests and rectify issues within your skill set and experience as in a timely fashionEscalate unrectified tasks to proper resources.May be required to perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to small equipment repairs, plumbing repairs, and fire life safety inspectionsPerform other tasks such as obtaining/receiving materials, painting, trash collection, snow removal, property inspections, moving and installing furniture and equipmentRespond to emergency helicopter landingsRespond to Code Red emergencies while working with on site power engineers to verify the nature of the emergency and assist where requiredUndertake project work within your skill set and experience for installs, moves, adds and changesAssisting other team members with maintenance and project requests as requiredOperate a electronic handheld device and maintenance software for performing and recording work requestsAdhere and maintain departmental standards for undertaking work to meet quality standards and key performance targetsComply with relevant safety procedures, company policies and procedures and adheres to company standardsOperate maintenance equipment as necessaryPerform any other related duties as required or assigned Is this the right role for you? Must be able to perform various maintenance tasks within your skill set and experienceMust be able to work on shift (Morning, Afternoon, Evenings and Weekends), vacation, sick days, and averaging day coverage. Some shifts may be up to 12 hours long.You have the ability to gather information, accurately assess issues, seek support and take direction as necessaryYou are a team player and have experience in performance-based service delivery and have strong customer serviceYou have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly develop working relationships with a broad range of individuals, both internally and externallyAbility to work with minimal supervisionMust be comfortable with computer applications and computer maintenance management systems for monitoring automated systems. You possess a valid driver’s licenseExperience with Agility is an asset. Note: This is a 24/7 Facility.
