British Columbia Construction Association (BCCA) Apprenticeship Services is launching a major industry-wide drive supporting small and medium construction employers to hire and register first-year apprentices. This province-wide recruitment drive is administered by BCCA as part of the BCCA Apprentices Services campaign. In the meantime, BCCA is also providing assistance to our employers and members with their hiring needs. This job is for one of BCCA's employers. Responsibilites:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems
  • Use power tools and hand tools to cut, bend, and thread pipes
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete projects
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman experience
  • Significant hands-on plumbing experience
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety protocols

Salary : $30.00-$48.00 per hour
