Builder Production - Wall Panels

Title :Wall Panel Production Location : 304 Station St., Smithville, ON

Day Shift :Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Major Duties and Responsibilities :

• Knowledge and experience in framing or panel manufacturing.
• Experienced in handling lumber and able to effectively check for quality and defects.
• Ensures the product is manufactured to precise specifications.
• Experienced in reading blueprints and interpreting them for accurate production of wall panels.
• Familiar with safety and cleaning protocols on production lines, machinery, and equipment.
• Effectively completes machinery and equipment inspections.
• Ensure all activities are recorded and logs are up to date through production software.
• Uses various hand tools to perform tasks, such as measuring tapes, fastening devices, hammers, etc.

Forklift Operation :

• Completes circle checks and inspections.
• Effectively moves and organizes work-in-progress material based on production schedule.

Responsibilities :

• Wall panel fabrication
• Forklift operation
• Accurately read shop drawings
• Lifting and handling materials
• Quality control
• Experience in framing considered an asset

Requirements :

• Experience in the construction industry considered an asset
• Experience using construction related tools considered an asset
• Able to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum lift requirement of 66 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
