Reporting to the Manager, HCM Systems and People Analytics, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving process automation, reporting, and data analytics. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll enhance our HRIS platform, support projects to improve employee experiences, streamline processes, and offer innovative solutions. Join us in shaping the future of Meridian’s Employee Experience!Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a specialist in multiple domains, demonstrating advanced technical knowledge and hands-on experience with configurations in Core HCM (UKG), ICM (Varicent), Performance Management, Security, Analytics and Reporting, Succession Planning, Compensation, and moreExhibit the capacity to facilitate change management and serve as a reliable consultant to the People & Culture (P&C) teamsOffer assistance in resolving system and user issues, and provide support for the deployment and maintenance of the UKG platform throughout the organizationCarry out system upkeep tasks, including aiding in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS system updates. Work in collaboration with functional and technical teams to test and deploy updates or fixesProduce standard and custom reports on HR metrics such as Turnover, Headcount, and BudgetsDesign and create HR reports, dashboards, and scorecards using reporting tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, BI Cognos) to meet business needs and facilitate data-driven decisions. Develop visually engaging data visualizations for efficient data communicationEnsure data integrity by conducting audits, reviewing reports, and analyzing data for accuracy and completeness.Participate in the development and updating of integration technical specifications and secure business approval upon successful testingProvide cross-training to team members on system administration and configuration, troubleshooting, user management, and reportingUphold strict confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of work  What you can bring to Meridian:Proficiency in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)Familiarity with UKG ProAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, dashboard, Power Pivot)Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (preference for Business or Information Technology); or equivalent professional experienceDemonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and identify opportunities for improvement or transformation through HR Technology or processesExcellent problem-solving skills, particularly in analyzing and troubleshooting software user issuesProven experience in data analysis, with a focus on creating advanced reports and dashboardsStrong customer service skills, with the ability to effectively advise and consult with stakeholders from across the organizationProfessional and courteous demeanor, with the ability to function both independently and as a positive contributor to a team Office Location: 3330 Bloor Street West, Toronto OR 75 Corporate Park Drive, St. Catharines. Meridian has a remote work policy that allows flexibility for employees to work remotely but also requires regular time in the office for purposeful meetings to collaborate, innovate and build effective relationships with your team, your colleagues and your leader which is very important to us. What's in it for you?
