Cascade Aerospace is looking for a Junior Programmer Analyst who is equally enthusiastic about learning technical skills as they are about learning business skills. If you are interested in doing a little bit of everything from application support to full stack development to business analysis tasks, then maybe you are the person we are looking for. This position requires Controlled Goods clearance, therefore, only Canadian Residents or Permanent Residents will be considered at this time Follow standard SDLC to develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies. Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs. SQL and Report development. Manage Application Support queue and resolve tickets. Provide in-person support for end users on a wide range of issues. Work with business users to translate user requirements into functional requirements. Write and maintain technical documentation. Proactively improve department procedures. Strive to consistently act in a manner in which reflects Cascade Aerospace’s culture and values. Be familiar with and ensure that all workplace conduct is in accordance with Cascade Aerospace’s Human Resources safety and security policies and procedures. Prioritization and time management skills for multiple tasks. Flexible and open to jump between support and development work. Enthusiastic and inquisitive to root out the true source of a problem. Strong attention to details. Able to develop personal rapport with business users. Strong written and verbal communication skills. College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 0-2+ years of experience in Information Technology. Experience/Education in Scripting and Object-Oriented Programming. Experience/Education with SQL and Relational database systems. Familiar with the following is an asset: ERP applications, such as Epicor or JDE. SAP SuccessFactors. SSRS/Power BI. SharePoint.
