Description :Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Controls Specialist to join our team! In this role you will support the tracking, updating and monitoring of cost control, and scheduling functions on smaller projects and assist senior project controls associates on larger projects. What You'll Be Doing:Assists with the development and management of the cost control systems to provide project and company management with accurate financial information.Facilitates the development of the work breakdown structure (WBS), interfacing with Procurement, Engineering, and Finance Departments as needed.Performs some independent analysis of data stored in the project management and cost control systems.Analyzes cost and schedule performance indicators (CPI and SPI).Prepares and maintains project forecasts and status updates.Provides assessment with corrective action recommendations to management.May provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to others in the resolution of project control problems.Performs other functions and responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's Degree in Administration/Management, Engineering, or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of related work experienceBasic project management and administration knowledge.Proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office SuiteMinimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 75 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
