Position Summary Under the direct supervision of the Executive Chef, the receiver is responsible for the overall maintenance of par stock levels for alcoholic beverages and food while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. This position has a dotted line report to the F & B Director. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Key Accountabilities Analyzes inventory levels and in conjunction with the Supervisor, Stores and Receiving and the F & B Director, prepare purchase orders. Liaises regularly with Food and Beverage Operations In conjunction with the receiving department, receive, stores and issues alcoholic goods to the appropriate department Manages stock levels based on historical data and immediate requirements. Maintains accurate stock records Checks invoices against purchase orders and against actual receipts Prepares spoilage/damaged goods reports weekly. Prepares reports on stock movements/trends and slow moving item. Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and team members) Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations Performs other duties as assigned or directed Education and Qualifications High School Diploma Minimum 1 year stores experience Responsible Liquor Service certificate Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and the ability to recognize trends Mathematical abilities Computer literacy in MS Office Work Environment Considerations Regular back office and stores environment, walking for long periods of time, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, driving, some exposure to the elements, non-traditional work hours Great Canadian Gaming Corporation is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and we welcome all qualified applicants to apply to join our team of unique contributors.
