The Role

Responsibilities :

  • Engage and work creatively with Channel Partners throughout British Columbia to aid in the growth of potential and existing customers (IT channel distributors, IT channel resellers, electrical distributors, end users, contractors, and OEMs) by providing technical support through site visits, audits, and informative presentations.

  • Generate demand for our products and solutions in different ways, including client meetings, lunch and learns, distributor, contractor, and end-user calls, tradeshows, and virtual meetings.

  • Serve as technical support for all sales partners and channels in their endeavors with:

  • Eaton single phase and three phase UPS systems

  • Tripp Lite server racks, cooling products and accessories

  • Innosys Power/TPS surge protection devices

  • Starline overhead track busway and wall mount raceway systems

  • Assist with inbound inquiries from our existing customer base, including requests for quotation and delivery information.

  • Commit to continual learning and education around new products and solutions for our customers.

Skills & Requirements

  • High energy and a determined problem solver
  • Background in the electrical, IT or data industry, including an understanding of electrical systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly present products and solutions to clients.
  • The ability to work closely within a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel through the province.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with a CRM platform (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc) is an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 software is an asset
