Position description – Sales & Operations Coordinator, reporting to : Beech Nursery West General Manager / Buyer Are you a dynamic and results-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced and client-centric environment? We are seeking a passionate emotionally intelligent Sales & Operations Coordinator to join our team reporting directly to the General Manager. The right candidate is responsible for supporting and assisting the General Manager / Buyer with day-to-day functions. The successful candidate will have either FMCG or nursery experience, plant knowledge, strong customer service, multitasking, problem solving skills, and be quick to learn. Strong computer skills are required for this position. Key Responsibilities: ·       Ensuring the ERP system is maintained and up to date with pricing and product descriptions. ·       Build and develop relationships with suppliers, assist with pricing negotiations. ·       Next person to assist in the account management with the GM’s accounts. ·       Sourcing alternative plant materials when required. ·       Utilize ERP system to prepare suggested PO’s and process upon GM’s sign off. ·       Tagging plant material for GM and customers. ·       Next point of contact for GM’s customers. ·       Running ERP reports as required to support GM and Sales Team. ·       Collaborate with Shipping and Receiving to coordinate in/outbound logistics. ·       Work with GM and Head Grower to coordinate movement and tracking of machinery across farms and jobs. ·       Leverage ERP to lead and develop process efficiencies. ·       Assist with coordinating vehicle / machinery maintenance and repairs. ·       Overall general organization of GM’s day to day and week. Job requirements: ·       3+ years of either FMCG or nursery / landscape industry experience ·       Business / Horticulture diploma / degree preferred. ·       Ability to work Saturdays during busy landscape season. ·       Exceptional internal / external customer service skills with a high level of emotional intelligence. ·       Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ·       Proactive, creative approaches to problem solving. ·       Strong Microsoft office skills Why Join Us: Joining our team means being part of a dynamic and innovative organization committed to excellence.
