We are committed to helping people find their inner strength and reach their goals.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach a variety of classes including cardio kickboxing,, HIIT, bootcamps, spin, yoga, Mossa program.Arrive at the class location 10 to 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled start time to be available to interact with members, answer questions, inquire about their fitness progress, introduce and orient new participantsInquire if there are any “first-timers” in the group and if so, assess their fitness level in as private a manner as possibleEnsure all verbal instructions are clear and that the volume, tempo of music and overall atmosphere is conducive to hearing, teaching, learning and having funContinually monitor participants to ensure all participants are using correct form. Offer variations of the routine to accommodate all fitness levelResponsible for instructing classes within certain guidelines and ensuring equipment is safe for all members to useDismantle all audio and visual equipment after useEncouraging members to try new group fitness classes is always a bonus! QualificationsMinimum six (6) months of experience instructing group fitness classesKnowledge of safe exercise techniques, group exercise principles, basic physiology and body mechanicsStrong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence peopleProfessional, organized, efficient, results-focused and a self-starterAbility to operate and troubleshoot audio equipmentGroup Fitness Certification by BCRPA, ACE, AFAA, ACSM, or equivalentCurrent CPR certificationWhat We OfferPositive, rewarding, and collaborative team environmentCompetitive compensationComplimentary club membershipDiscount on Gold’s Gym products and servicesNOTE: This job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
