Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the relationship and contracts with LATAM suppliers and possibly other main sourcing regions in the future. Holding suppliers accountable for the success of each program and working together with internal teams to coordinate, transmit, and ensure programs meet customer expectations. Work cross-functionally with internal and external teams and suppliers. Manage day-to-day supplier communication channels to stay on top of all outstanding contracts. Work cross-functionally with our internal teams to ensure contracts are compliant and ready to be shipped on time to support forecasted demand. •Oversee the timely management and execution of contracts, ensuring that status updates are communicated to the appropriate points of contact. •Provides administrative support to the Procurement Manager, which will include approval and coordination of contract issuing, metric data collection, status tracking and reporting, coordination of packaging availability at suppliers, and ensuring quality aspects are aligned for all contracts. •Track and ensure vendor performance in terms of quality, on-time deliveries (service levels), packaging development, volume allocation, etc. oComplete periodic performance reviews of suppliers. oWork on improvement plans if necessary. •Support the resolution of supplier disputes, identifying and (support) resolving supplier or shipment problems, quality issues, contractual compliance, supplier reporting, etc. Communication of raw material and packaging issues and challenges about pending contracts with suppliers and internal teams. •Communicate with internal departments (Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Food Safety, Finance) in North America and Europe, on mid to long-term planning, allocation, and food safety and spec alignment. •Oversight and execution of Retail and Food Service launches. •Support FSQA department as needed to enable commercial execution. •Provide feedback and recommendations on day-to-day process improvements. •Organize weekly, biweekly, or monthly meetings with key strategic suppliers with whom we have contracts to catch up and discuss the overall performance of programs. •Work on monthly purchase reports by suppliers/countries and share with the commercial team. •Share weekly fruit reports with the commercial team about the most relevant crops per season. •Responsible for supporting, maintaining, and providing front-line procurement services to support various functionalities required in the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes. •Some international travel will be necessary. Qualifications •Strong writing and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Economics. •Three (3) or more years of recent applicable experience. •Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with Management. •Operationally minded and thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. •Must be motivated, organized, and have effective time management skills. •Detailed oriented as working with very specific sourcing requirements and data. •Can work independently as needed. •Detail oriented with the ability to see how the details fit into the overall, big picture. •The ability to identify and document problems and develop solutions is highly desirable. •Sound judgment with an open and collaborative style that encourages cooperation. •Flexible team player, possessing a “can-do” attitude and conveying a sincere service ethic in interactions with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders. •Experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables) •SAPB1 ERP experience an asset.
