On behalf of our client, Jump Recruitment is now seeking a Senior Project Manager. This position will be based in St. John’s and will manage projects throughout Newfoundland Labrador. Our client is well recognized in the field of commercial construction in several locations across the province. They have experienced significant growth in operations over the past number years and remains dedicated to quality, safety, and continued growth. Our client takes pride in providing their clients with high-quality project’s from start to finish, on time and on budget. The company has completed new buildings, expansions, and renovations across the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.Reporting to the President and Vice President, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the overall supervision of projects from start to finish, to ensure they are completed on time and on budget. Work as a team with our project managers and coordinators on daily operations, business objectives and facilitate growth for our employees and the company.Key Duties & Responsibilities Provide on-site and office leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals.Manage the day-to-day project activities and resourcesProvide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks, and issuesUnderstand interdependencies between operations, and business needsFull project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deploymentReport on project success criteria results, metrics, testing, and deployment management activitiesParticipate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships that facilitate project successManage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolutionCoach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project and program team, as well as, monitoring staff performance and reviewsEffectively communicate with superiors, team members, clients, and other stakeholdersQualifications & Experience 10+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projectsLevel of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, and other software as requiredDemonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions, and identifying prioritiesExperience negotiating vendor contractsAbility to successfully lead projects and programs on-time, on-schedule. and within budget parametersExperience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performanceFamiliarity with OH&S regulations and adaptation to the company safety policies and regulationsHave a strong understanding of construction and technical engineering documentation, as well as an understanding of the tendering, bidding and quoting processes in the industryThe PerksAbove average total compensation packageCareer advancementCell PhoneVehicle & Gas AllowanceHealth & Dental BenefitsRRSP Matching ProgramPaid Time OffBonus Incentives Brendan Hagerty |General Manager | brendan@highertalent.ca Jump Recruitment Specialists |www.jumpcareers.caAt Jump Recruitment we recognize the value of diversity and are committed to making intentional steps toward building inclusive teams that better reflect the communities Jump Recruitment and the organizations we serve operate within.
