DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:MERCHANDISING:Organize backroom product and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processesUses PDT and MMS Systems to perform daily tasksAs directed, manage Exit Strategy and Product ReturnExpert in assigned areas of product inventory, product placement and expiry datesMaintains Store Standard pertaining to image and trends in storeEnsures product displays are consumer focused and “shoppable”RECEIVING:Receives merchandise in accordance with the receiving policies and proceduresMaintains a neat and organized backroom according to principles of backroom organizationEnsures proper documentation is completed with respect to the receiving and return of goodsSupports Front Store Manager/Assistant Front Store Manager in maintaining the quality and standardsCUSTOMER SERVICE:Clean image to the customers in accordance with uniform policy and dress codeTakes initiative to acknowledge and assist customers in the aislesGENERAL:Complies with all health and safety regulationsComplies with all Store StandardsComplies with loss prevention policies and proceduresPerform other duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONS:Planning, Judgement and Decision MakingEfficiency, organization and neatnessCopes with changing situations on the sales floorCash responsibilities (if applicable) require accuracy and efficiency in processing the customer orderEXPERIENCE:Some computer and cash register skillsWell organized with ability to record keepDetail orientedAbility to work independentlySelf-motivatedWORKING CONDITIONS:Ability to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekendsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to climb ladderJ2WRTLWhy work in a Shoppers Drug Mart store?
