APPLY and JOIN our dynamic team in a fascinating high-tech environment facing new and exciting challenges daily.Qualifications: - Analytical nature and able to problem solve - Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work load - Practical attitude and ability to learn new skills and tasks - Ability to implement systems and to lead by example - Prior manufacturing experience an asset - Good Communication Skills (oral and written)Knowledge/Experience Required: - Post-secondary education in a related field asset - 3-5 years’ experience in a supervisory role - Proven track record of team building - Familiarity with basic logistics and supply chain principles - Previous specific (grocery or retail) industry knowledge an assetPrimary Job Functions: Administrative - Provide KPI statistics andtrend analysis on a regular interval and to ensure that department performance is measurable and traceable - On an ongoing basis, work with the Site Manager to review operating procedures in order to achieve and maintain customer service levels. Ensure production teams are properly staffed and optimized - Be responsible for Headcount, Overtime levels and general conformity and performance of the teams - Ensure open and effective communication with the customerOperational - Be a motivated team builder, coach and mentor and a training champion - Ensure adequate training and development of Production Supervisors - Responsible for overall knowledge level of the operations team - Be responsible for overall productivity, output and with related operational costs - Develop action plans as required to ensure continuous improvement - Organize, co-ordinate and supervise the work of the production team in accordance with policies, laws and regulations.
