Job Description :Location: Hybrid- One day per week in office (Downtown Montreal , Toronto or Waterloo)As our Bilingual Copywriter, Advisor Sales & Marketing Support, you will be responsible for building authentic conversations between advisors and prospects, Clients and communities with engaging and innovative content across various digital and print platforms. You are a solid copywriter in French and in English, well versed in trending styles, and creativity is in your DNA. You have a keen sense of emotional storytelling. Using your strengths in relevant and high-impact digital content authoring, you are obsessively compelled to drive engagement. You will work with advisors and sales leaders in Quebec and across Canada to understand their value proposition, target audience and business objectives and will help them thrive with their marketing.This candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, likes to work in consultation with partners and advisors, is resilient, open to collaboration and is well versed in digital content marketing best practices. The Copywriter reports to the Manager, Content, Advisor Sales & Marketing Support within Retail Advice & Solutions. The Advisor Sales & Marketing Support team is accountable for defining, designing and delivering marketing programs. We help position Sun Life advisors’ distinctive value proposition for targeting clients and driving leads, sales and Client engagement. And, we entice and engage independent advisors to choose to place business with Sun Life.Main accountabilities and responsibilities:In French and English;Consult with and review advisors’ value propositions, biographies, social media content, digital marketing tactics and service offeringsCraft written content that influences audiences across different media, including targeted email, web, social and videoPerform Québec market reviews (QMR) on translated marketing content to ensure market accuracy and relevancyExecute promotional and business writing projects including editing, adapting to local market and managing the approval process for print and digital tactics Effectively optimize email marketing performance and member email subscriptions through innovative nurturing and drip campaigns, A/B testing and sound analysis of user behaviours to increase conversions Identify new content opportunities, develop and source content, coordinate and align content calendar activities to deliver a cohesive and compelling story across all channels Help to optimize marketing efforts with segmentation, personalized digital tactics that nurture and engage target audiencesMaintain a strong understanding of technical SEO, link building and other digital tactics and algorithms to execute on online marketing campaigns that earn qualified organic traffic Collaborate with different teams through all stages of projects to ensure an effective, polished final product Champion advisor and Client oriented marketing and sales approaches; consult with key business partners and recommend the appropriate approaches and vehicles to achieve business and marketing objectives Competencies and skills:Ability to communicate and write fluently in both French and EnglishCopywriting abilities and marketing or sales experience to create and execute marketing or sales programs as part of a collaborative team Ability to understand advanced industry concepts and distill them into engaging and relatable contentUsing marketing tech stacks to build and execute email and online campaignsDemonstrate creativity and solid understanding of marketing principles to create engaging copy that influences the audience Organized, with attention to detail and the ability to work on several projects simultaneously Be a leader and a self-starterAbility to identify opportunities to link projects, initiatives or promotions together Interpersonal skills: must be able to consult, influence and negotiate with people from diverse backgrounds and levels throughout the organization Communication skills with an ability to build relationships with team members and business partners Leadership skills by driving for action, managing complexity and generating innovative solutions Ability to embrace change and adapt to constantly evolving business and Client prioritiesPrevious experience working in financial services (asset) Required qualifications:Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide.Post-secondary education in marketing, journalism or communication-related field or relevant work experienceMinimum 3-5 years’ experience in marketing promotions roles with copywriting experienceProven experience managing automated email marketing campaigns for consumer brandsProven ability to drive content and communication strategies and plansThorough understanding of social media platforms, including advertising, and how they support other digital marketing effortsUnique requirement:At interview stage, you need to provide writing samples (portfolio) of your work.Why join Sun Life:Being a member of the Sun Life family, a group of people united by our Purpose: to help Clients and Employees achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier livesA friendly, collaborative and inclusive cultureA collaborative and interactive team environmentBeing part of our journey in developing the next greatest digital experienceWorking together, sharing common values and encouraging growth & achievement
