Our team is seeking a proactive, reliable, creative and analytical senior UX researcher to join our product team.The Role: As a key member of the Product research team, you will be responsible for leading the overall product planning and improvement direction. You need to generate MRD reports based on insightful research results and closely collaborate with the product development team to ensure that new features and upgrades align with the overall strategy you have planned by influencing Product Roadmap, short and long term.. Additionally, you will work closely with colleagues responsible for product research, proposing specific research requirements, including but not limited to user insights, competitor research, and industry research. These research findings will play a crucial role in shaping your product planning. Lastly, you should possess strong data analysis skills to timely adjust your product planning direction based on the latest data results and market feedbackResponsibilities:Conduct user research to inform the overall product planning and improvement of existing video software products, including user needs analysis, audience expansion, and feature enhancement.Collaborate closely with the product team to define research objectives and methodologies, ensuring alignment with product requirements (PRD) and market requirements (MRD).Produce regular MRD reports based on research findings, monitor industry trends, and provide insights to guide product development and strategic decisions.Review product and market feedback data, assess the effectiveness of product implementations, and recommend adjustments to the product roadmap.What We're Looking For:6+ years of experience as a UX Researcher or in a related role, with at least 3 years of experience in technology, consumer software, or SaaS industries.Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly articulating research findings, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and effectively communicating with stakeholders.Critical thinking skills, with the ability to independently analyze user problems, propose innovative solutions, and evaluate various options.Nice to Have:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.Experience working for a large B2C technology company in North America.Ability to read, write, and speak in Simplified Chinese (Mandarin).Proficiency in user research tools and methodologies, with experience in video software or media products being a strong plus.Why Wondershare Technology, Canada?
