Description Hi, I am Shaq, the Drumeo Project Manager at Musora.  We are looking for a Transcription Specialist to work with Drumeo.  As the  Transcription Specialist, you will be a key player in crafting the most exceptional and accurate song transcriptions available and will play an important role in making our students' experience THE BEST! In this job posting, we are offering a hybrid work model, with the flexibility to consider fully remote arrangements for outstanding candidates. Key Duties: Throughout the week you will perform tasks such as: Create transcriptions and arrangements for songs in a wide variety of genres, styles and difficulty levels.  Transcribe educational or performance videos for weekly release. These will also be at a varying degree of difficulty and complexity.  Contribute to creating a quality and level standard for transcriptions and arrangements for the Drumeo brand. Work with feedback from the Brand Director and the Curriculum Manager on how to best serve our students. Participate in video shoots or pre production meetings in order to best understand the content being filmed and the best way to serve that content with notation. Proof all transcriptions before releasing. Manage all corrections found in previously released transcriptions. Key Responsiblities Creating transcriptions to meet the brand teams needs. Proofing all transcriptions before release. Artist Relations: Ensure you speak on behalf of Musora while interacting with artists, and maintaining a positive and professional environment.  Key Qualifications We want to harness your strengths while supporting your development – and we’re looking for somebody who is exceptional in a few areas: Experience: Proficiency in either Finale or Sibelius Software Experience in transcribing multiple genres and styles, including lead sheets, accompaniments and full scores An intermediate drum playing ability Music theory.
