Maitenance Administrator - Day Shift or Afternoon

GFL Environmental is looking for a full-time Maintenance Administrator to help support our operations in Ayr, ON. The Maintenance Administrator is responsible for providing support to the daily operations of the maintenance shop. The Maintenance Administrator reports to the Maintenance Manager and works collaboratively with the maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Providing reliable support and assistance to maintenance department daily.
  • Creating, assigning, invoicing and closing work orders (WO’s) and purchase orders (PO’s) for service department.
  • Entering preventative maintenance work orders (WO’s) into M5 maintenance software accurately and in timely manner.
  • Processing information for oil sampling which includes receiving samples, entering data into maintenance software programs and sending samples for testing.
  • Accurately processing information related to equipment damage.
  • Record keeping related to re-torque notices and service work, reviewing for accuracy and completion.
  • Other duties include but are not limited to: reporting, scanning, filing and sending appointment reminders on an as needed basis.
  • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies :

  • GED (High School) diploma. Post-secondary courses or diploma would be considered an asset.
  • Valid license or reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with TMT and Peoplenet software will be viewed with priority.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring cooperation and instruction.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills.
