Accounting Technician

Our client is currently seeking a meticulous and motivated Accounting Technician to join their Finance team. The Accounting Technician will be responsible for accurately inputting financial data into our accounting system, maintaining records, and supporting various accounting functions. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent typing skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Input and update financial data into the accounting system with a high level of accuracy. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents. Perform data verification and reconciliation to identify discrepancies or errors. Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation. Assist with routine accounting tasks such as accounts payable and accounts receivable. Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and compliance with accounting standards. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Proven experience in data entry, preferably in an accounting or finance environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications. Excellent typing skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
