Job Description:
Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Hydrogen Electrical Engineer to join our client locally in Vancouver. This is a permanent, full-time role that requires on-site work. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 8-years of experience and must possess their Professional Engineering or P.Eng accreditation. You will be leading and executing the control system design development of new hydrogen fueling stations, as well as upgrading current stations already in the operation. This includes working with electrical schematics, single line diagrams, cable schedules and amongst other key equipment. You will be working alongside technicians and other electricians to provide direction and technical input for the testing and build of hydrogen fueling stations, and cross functionally with fabricators, programmers and engineers.
Must Haves:
- A minimum of 8-years of experience
- Hold a Professional Engineer or P.Eng accreditation
- PLC and HMI Programming
- Motor control circuit, electrical controls systems and cabinet design experience
- Industrial Automation
Plusses:
- High pressure gas experience preferably with hydrogen
