Pinchin is seeking a full-time AutoCAD Technologist - Design Drafter to join our Building Science & Sustainability team in one of our British Columbia or Prairies (AB, SK, MB) offices. A Day in the life of an AutoCAD Technologist at Pinchin: Be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your work will contribute to the development and implementation of various projects within Pinchin’s Building Science and Sustainability group.Incorporate changes and modifications into existing drawings as required.Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documentation.Prioritizes assigned tasks in accordance with established project schedules by adhering to time frames and deadlines.What you bring to the Pinchin team:Strong background in Building Sciences and Architectural detailed design drafting.Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.Attention to detail and accuracy in creating drawings.Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.Proficient understanding and knowledge of building materials.Experience with taking ownership of projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision or oversight.Excellent communications skills and a willingness to learn new skills are essential.Successful completion of an Architectural Technologist diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution, with a minimum of five years relative experience.What’s in it for you: Of course, we offer competitive salaries and great benefits, but what makes Pinchin stand out from the crowd?
