STEM/STEAM Learning Facilitator

Part-Time | Weekdays 3pm-7pm | Weekends 9am-5pm

What is Steamoji?

What are we looking for?

Responsibilities :

• Assist with the deployment of the Steamoji curriculum
• Deliver Steamoji Curriculum in Elementary Schools
• Be a role model for young apprentices
• Contribute to company culture and Steamoji core values
• Review instructional videos before each session
• Work with 6-10 apprentices to complete missions
• Assist and guide apprentices during the making process of Steamoji projects
• Assist apprentices with tools and equipment and ensure safety in the process
• Create and share video artifacts and provide feedback to parents

Qualifications : College/University Students or recent graduates seeking a part-time position working with children and learning basic technological skills in the process.

• Basic knowledge of coding and technology or ability to quickly pick up basic concepts
• Energetic, fun and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with children
• Ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults
• Team player who works well with others in a collaborative setting
• Interest in technology and willingness to learn basic coding

Job Type : Part-time

Salary : $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Job Types : Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Seasonal, Apprenticeship Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
